Job Title: Workday HCM Configurator

Role Overview:

The HR Technology Workday HCM Configurator will have the privilege of handling the Workday core configuration at Otis. You will be responsible for the overall Workday configuration related to the Workday core HCM configuration. You will develop and maintain effective relationships with your customers and partners and other Workday Functional resources. The ideal candidate should have configuration experience in Workday and be willing to lead a best-in-class solution to all Otis employees.

On a typical day you will:

  • Provide input and techno-functional knowledge to the overall Workday HCM modules
  • Work directly in configurating Workday HCM modules (lead the setup, configuration, and maintenance of CORE HCM business process
  • Implement creative and effective Workday solutions meeting the business needs
  • Review business process configurations (and able to make updates/clean-up, condition rules, validation rules, calculated fields, security, notifications) and modify existing processes
  • Collaborate with business partners to document and enable end-to-end Workday solutions
  • Design and prototype solutions (including new Workday functionality)
  • Comfortable presenting solutions using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Workday tenant demonstrations
  • Able to create Workday reports showing data-driven results
  • Comfortable leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, able to prioritize tasks effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Mentor and guide team members to promote knowledge transfer, sharing and growth
  • Identify and implement corrective actions quickly and independently in order to accomplish objectives
  • Identify improvement opportunities for the organization and be an advocate for change.

What you will need to be successfull:

  • Any graduates/ Master Degree
  • 8+ years of experience in deploying global Workday configuration
  • Thrive in a diverse, fast paced, global environment
  • Experienced in configuring Workday Business Processes
  • Workday Functional experience with HCM applications
  • Strong hands-on experience with the following Workday modules: HCM and Business Process workflow
  • Basic knowledge of AGILE and Project Management methodologies and practices
  • Think analytically and can effectively apply logic to solve problems
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and team with others
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can clearly articulate complex messages and requirements to stakeholders, functional COE teams
  • General passion in finding creative solution using the Workday application
  • Strong presence in Workday Community
