  • Creating functional requirements and testing evidence before changes are deployed.
  • Supporting the Continuous Improvement roadmap by identifying opportunities that make processes simpler and more intuitive.
  • Partnering with Workday consultants and cross‑functional teams to shape system roadmaps and deliver meaningful improvements.
  • Leading small Workday projects end‑to‑end, including requirement gathering, scoping, building, testing and deployment.
  • Providing regular updates to stakeholders so they understand progress and next steps.
  • Supporting release governance by ensuring all changes follow the People Technology release framework.
  • Managing work items, tickets and updates with our AMS partner.
  • Investigating functional solutions, handling queries and helping colleagues troubleshoot issues.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships across the People function and wider business.

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy problem‑solving, working collaboratively and using technology to make everyday experiences better. We’re looking for:

  • A strong understanding of HR processes and how technology supports great employee experiences.
  • Experience working with HR systems in a similar‑sized organisation.
  • Workday experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with HR legislation in the UK (and ideally in other countries Bupa operates in).
  • An interest in how digital tools can simplify processes and improve the way people work.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to work independently while building great relationships across teams.
  • Curiosity, continuous learning and a willingness to explore new ideas.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering solutions that feel intuitive for the end user.
