Delivery Excellence Analyst (Junior)


Role Overview
The Delivery Excellence Analyst supports the delivery function by assisting in driving process efficiency, governance, and quality across projects, enhancements, and programs. This entry-level role focuses on tracking delivery metrics, facilitating reviews, standardizing documentation, and helping to maintain adherence to delivery frameworks and best practices. The role offers a foundation in delivery governance with exposure to Workday tenant management and project pipeline tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Governance & Reporting
• Assist in weekly/monthly delivery governance reviews, including tracking tenant utilization and project progress.
• Track and report KPIs such as effort and schedule variance, quality metrics, and customer satisfaction under guidance.
• Support review of effort estimations for Workday implementation projects.
• Prepare dashboards and summary reports using Excel, Power BI, or ADO.
Process Improvement
• Collaborate with teams to identify gaps in delivery processes and tenant management.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining delivery frameworks and templates such as Fit-Gap Analysis, Risk Registers, and Timelines.
• Support quality audits, retrospectives, and lessons-learned activities.
Documentation & Standardization
• Maintain repositories of project documentation, reusable templates, and standard documents related to Workday implementation projects.
• Help standardize reporting and ensure document version control.
• Support capturing PMO/TPM data including project timelines and resource alignments.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
• Work closely with delivery leads, PMO, QE, and vendors to monitor delivery quality and governance compliance.
• Facilitate communication among project teams, delivery leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support coordination of tenant management forums and align tenant refresh planning with projects.
Analytics & Insights
• Analyze delivery data trends to generate insights for leadership reviews.
• Support benchmarking and business cases for delivery transformation initiatives.
• Assist in monitoring operational metrics such as resource utilization and vendor performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications


• MBA graduate with 0-2 years’ experience in delivery, operations, or related roles; internships or projects related to delivery excellence are a plus.
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and delivery concepts.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint; familiar with Power BI, SmartSheet, ADO or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in team environments.
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take ownership of deliverables.
Preferred
• Exposure to Workday environments or SaaS delivery models.
• Basic knowledge of process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma).
