Job Overview

The Workday Business Systems Analyst will work closely with our business partners to provide functional and technical support for all HR projects and initiatives within the Workday ecosystem. The successful candidate will join a small, collaborative team of Workday specialists committed to driving critical HR initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a small team of Workday professionals, playing an integral role in supporting and executing mission-critical HR projects under tight deadlines
  • Provide prompt, high-quality day-to-day support for both functional and technical queries related to Workday in a challenging operational context
  • Efficiently triage and resolve support tickets raised by HR and Finance teams, demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills and a relentless focus on workflow optimization
  • Partner closely with the team to strategically plan, design, and deliver critical application changes, coordinating all aspects of deployment processes in a highly structured and detail-oriented manner
  • Take personal accountability for developing and executing stringent, end-to-end test plans, ensuring nothing less than the highest quality before deployment to the production environment
  • Act as a careful and responsible custodian of sensitive HR data and processes, maintaining absolute confidentiality and precision in day-to-day configuration and business analysis
  • Document system designs, integrations, workflows and maintain related documentation to support the Workday platform.
  • Demonstrate exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, supporting users and stakeholders with exceptional customer service, even in high-pressure scenarios
  • Bring proven experience within the HR domain and Workday, applying your expertise to solve complex, time-sensitive challenges
  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and prioritize effectively; excel in dissecting and resolving intricate issues, while meeting—and exceeding—elevated expectations for performance and reliability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Computer Science or related concentration is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on Workday experience in two or more Workday modules (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Time & Absence) and advanced reporting (calculated fields)
  • Proficiency with Workday integration tools (Workday Studio, EIBs, PECI)
  • Demonstrates the highest level of discretion when handling highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Demonstrated capability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and interact professionally with IT colleagues, business users, senior management, and external support consultants
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in maintaining accurate deployment plans and documentation
  • Proven track record in managing several projects concurrently and consistently meeting tight deadlines

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $255,000 per year.

Arrowstreet Capital operates a robust talent acquisition program, and we also seek to compensate and reward our employees competitively within our industry and in line with our merit-based culture. Our approach to total compensation includes base salaries and annual discretionary bonuses, as well as a robust benefits package. The determination of a successful candidate’s base salary placement within the listed range will vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications (which may also include relevant certifications, credentials and other education), the job responsibilities and scope, the commensurate resulting level of the position and other relevant factors. The listed range is also an estimate, and additional information regarding base salary and other elements of total compensation offered by Arrowstreet Capital to successful applicants will be communicated during the recruitment process.
