Position Summary
You will be the Work Management Expert supporting our Belgium manufacturing operations. You will lead work planning, scheduling, and execution practices that keep our facilities safe, compliant and productive. You will work closely with operations, engineering, maintenance and quality teams. We value people who communicate clearly, solve problems practically, coach others, and bring structured thinking. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Lead development and continuous improvement of work management processes, from planning to close-out.
- Coordinate work scheduling, resource allocation and prioritisation with operations, engineering and maintenance.
- Ensure work requests, permits and risk assessments meet safety, quality and regulatory needs.
- Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive maintenance strategies for repeat failures.
- Coach and train site teams on planning best practices, computerised maintenance systems and handover processes.
- Deliver timely metrics and reports that support decision making and operational readiness.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, maintenance, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in work management, maintenance planning, or asset management in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and work order lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of safety permit-to-work, risk assessment and compliance processes.
- Proven ability to prioritise work, manage stakeholders and support production continuity.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of French or Dutch is an advantage.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing.
- Formal training in reliability engineering, maintenance planning or continuous improvement (for example RCM, TPM, Lean).
- Experience leading change and coaching multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with SAP maintenance modules or similar enterprise systems.
- Good analytical skills with experience producing operational KPIs and dashboards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and one local Belgian language.
