Job Summary: You will serve as a WOOD WORKER in the SUPPLY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO.

Determining the sizes, shapes, parts, bracing and sections required to manufacture a durable transportation vehicle in order to prevent damage during storage or transports; 2. Select the appropriate tools, machines, equipment, and work methodology in order to construct custom built items having complex features or special requirements for sturdiness, serviceability, size, fit, and safety; 3. Utilize a knowledge of transportation/woodworking rules and regulations for preparation, packaging, and shipping requirements for all materials, including all hazardous materials; 4. Determine or recommend the extent of repairs required or construction alternatives necessary to modify or rework containers. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
