The QA & Testing Analyst will participate in the hands on test creation, manual and automated execution, analysis and reporting of functional and non-functional testing activities. The QA & Testing Analyst will work on tasks identified in the testing strategy and plan. The QA & Testing Analyst will be responsible for the accurate recording of defects and the collation of metrics and KPI information for reporting purposes.

The QA & Testing Profession is responsible for ensuring quality to products, projects and process solutions. The Profession is responsible for ensuring appropriate testing is accomplished to validate solution requirements throughout the project lifecycle. They will design and drive development, improvement and adoption of lifecycle and compliance processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Understands the specifications (technical/functional) including development of test functionality with partial documentation

  • Creates test cases

  • Creates test concepts

  • Documents test cases with specific tools (Like ALM/Jira etc)

  • Performs tests including documentation of the test results

  • Retests bug fixes

  • Creates UAT handover documentation for WM Business

  • Creates test plans

  • Supports implementation of technical solutions for the testing process e.g. test automation, performance testing or test data provisioning

  • Reviews and implements test process improvement

  • Active participate in the Agile Scrum ceremonies where through conducted analysis, given input on specific QA knowledge, sprint scope is being defined and backlog prioritized

  • Openness to learn how to do the ALM set-up for the Test Evaluation Report (TER) and creating the TER / Also be part of the Controls Creation in SDLC Platform

  • Sharing among the Team some DevOps tasks – such as Raise of Change Requests, close of tasks after PROD release deployment

Skills:

  • Min. 1 - 3 Years experience as a QA (preferably in Banking areas)

  • Test Automation Knowledge/Concepts: Experience with automation framework design, experience with automation tools like Selenium, HP UFT (note mandatory, would be a plus)

  • Basic understanding of Web services / testing of WS

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Highly organized with ability to commit and prioritize work duties and tasks

  • Ability to identify and escalate problems at an early stage (Be part of SDLC from the beginning)

  • Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations

  • Fluent in English (written/verbal)

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge about database concepts (i.e. Oracle, DB2) including writing and reading of SQL

  • Experience with Database tools (TOAD, SQL Developer etc.)

  • Knowledge/concepts about operating systems: UNIX, Linux, Mainframe/3270

  • Knowledge/concepts about computer languages:  Java, C++, Python etc

  • Familiar with data structures XML, XSD and web services SOAP Requests, SOAP UI

  • ALM and Jira/or similar (Defect Management tools)
