Key Responsibilities:


- Provide process development direction throughout the lifecycle of a technology node by identifying root cause yield limiters.
- Perform statistical analysis and develop visualizations to construct accurate process development roadmaps that drive technology yield milestones.
- Develop systems and methodologies to consolidate diverse big data sources for defect mode understanding and yield modeling.
- Organize and interpret fab process, defect, and electrical data, detecting anomalies and driving process changes to enhance yield.
- Apply statistics, machine learning, and coding techniques to extract insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Transform experimental and manufacturing data into actionable yield improvement strategies using knowledge of product design and test features.
- Analyze manufacturability over process and product design, resolving yield issues before manufacturing ramp.
- Execute new product introductions and support design-technology co-optimization.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to debug yield limiters in design, test, and process development areas.
- Develop and implement high-volume data analysis tools, algorithms, and methodologies for yield improvement.
- Perform fault isolation and failure analysis using various tools and techniques to determine root cause failures.
- Drive improvements to measurement recipes to provide accurate feedback on product integrity and resolve issues impacting yield or product quality.
- Harden and drive improvements to equipment/process to meet operational and capability needs for advanced logic nodes.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or another STEM-related field with 8+ years of relevant experience,
  • or Master’s degree degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or another STEM-related field with 6+ years,
  • or PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or another STEM-related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.

Experience listed above should be a combination of the following:

  • Metrology and defect inspection equipment experience
  • Defect detection, defect density analysis, and yield improvement
  • Failure mode analysis and process integration
  • Yield improvement methodologies with disciplined execution
  • Statistics and data analytics


Preferred Qualifications:

- Statistical analysis, data visualization, and machine learning techniques.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or yield development.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of working in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and communicate findings effectively.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $155,520.00-219,550.00 USD
