Redwood Credit Union is looking for a Wires Services Specialist I, who under limited supervision, will perform a wide variety of semi-routine accounting, regulatory compliance, clerical, product quality control and technical duties.
Key Responsibilities
Member Service:
o Responsible for processing a high volume of Domestic and International wires through various channels, using wire platform systems with first level permissions.
o Ensure all wire information is correct including ABA numbers and SWIFT codes are valid.
o Follow regulatory compliance procedures for wire area.
o File all incoming and outgoing wires.
o Maintain daily log sheets of wire activity and send notifications as requested.
o Review, process exceptions, and balance reports for wire process.
o Process wire traces and research.
o Create solutions and system enhancements when feasible.
o Research and resolve Members' problems or complaints related to wire traces and non-receipt of funds, draft and gather documentation to accurately respond back through verbal and/or written communication.
o Provide problem resolution and direction to other departments and branches regarding Member inquires, concerns and issues.
o Detect fraud to prevent losses to the Credit Union.
o Provide back-up and coverage to other department positions.
Department and Branch Support:
o Support and answer phone queue and manage email.
o Provide project support and implementation.
o Analyze processes and recommend changes for efficiency and service.
o Compile monthly status report, general ledger reconciliations and board reports.
o Provide information to branches and team members as needed related to processes and procedures.
