We are seeking an experienced UX Architect to lead the design and evolution of the user experience for our RANtoCore test and validation products. This role involves architecting intuitive, efficient, and scalable UX frameworks that bring multiple product lines together into a cohesive, user-centric RANtoCore test management and conformance testing solution. You will work closely with product line architects, product managers, and development teams to ensure exceptional usability, consistent interaction patterns, and maintainability across applications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive, scalable UX frameworks that unify multiple product lines into a seamless experience.
  • Define UX standards, interaction models, design systems, and best practices for cross-functional teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend advanced UX tools, research methodologies, and design technologies to enhance processes and product quality.
  • Architect and optimise user journeys, information architectures, and UI patterns across frontend experiences.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs, workflows, and system requirements, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to UX designers and cross-functional development teams.
  • Document UX architectures, design rationale, workflows, and guidelines for internal use and knowledge sharing.
  • Generate research insights, usability findings, and recommendations for continuous product improvement.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in UX, interaction design, and design technology.
  • Drive innovation by introducing modern UX approaches, design methodologies, and user-centric thinking.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in Human–Computer Interaction, UX Design, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in UX design, interaction design, or UX architecture roles.
  • Expertise with industry-standard design and prototyping tools, including Figma (primary), Sketch, Axure, and Adobe XD.
  • Strong experience defining design systems, interaction patterns, and UX standards for complex products.
  • Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and usability principles.
  • Experience collaborating closely with frontend engineering teams and understanding technical constraints.
  • Extensive experience with user research, workflow analysis, and UX strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of UX best practices in information architecture, navigation, and data-rich interfaces.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to build effective relationships cross-functionally at all levels.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate the value of UX.
  • A track record of leading change and promoting user-centric culture.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex UX initiatives simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
