This role involves monitoring financial systems, resolving queries, producing accurate reports, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional to join our global Work in Progress (WIP) and Disbursement team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial tracking and efficient disbursement processes across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain financial systems to ensure data integrity.
- Investigate and resolve queries related to WIP and disbursements.
- Produce accurate and timely financial reports for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure quick action to close books

Technical & Functional Skills
- Financial Systems Expertise: Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WIP management tools.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to extract, analyze, and interpret financial data; proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of WIP accounting, disbursement processes, and reconciliation principles.
- Process Improvement: Experience with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
- Strong ability to identify discrepancies and resolve financial queries.
- Critical thinking for root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Communication & Collaboration
