Join a transnational team of 30+ experts across the UK, Spain, and Germany leading the industrial concepts for a sustainable future for flight. You will gain end-to-end experience across wing components, blending technical expertise with leadership and project management to deliver a technological leap beyond conventional design. This is a unique opportunity to build a high-level European network while shaping the manufacturing principles of next-generation aviation.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM :
Support to one or more of the new Wing programmes, focused on industrial readiness for the launch and ramp-up of our future programmes.
Support Value Stream Analysis and Mapping for a new industrial set-up before the programme launch.
Support rate capacity analysis using concepts such as Takt Time, Cycle Time, Lead Time, OEE, saturation, etc.
Support the maturation of a new Industrial Ramp-up Simulation tool by reflecting the industrial set-up in the tool and analyzing the simulation results.
Support Lean Line Design deployment: applying lean principles, concepts and methodology for an industrialization phase.
Support for Industrial Performance Assessments.
Supports potential Digital Tools Deployment under Digital Factory Scope (i.e. Virtual Reality for Industrialization, 3DExperience, Digital Twins…).
In this role, you will be able to develop your leadership skills by having the opportunity to negotiate and influence stakeholders in order to gain buy-in and make decisions. You will also develop your project management skills by supporting project planning, risk management, progress control and reporting.
ABOUT YOU:
Proficient oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to present to a range of stakeholders both internal and external.
Strong knowledge of Composite manufacturing processes.
Experience of composite manufacturing in an industrial environment.
Desire to work in a technical team environment, interfacing with engineering and the plants.
A strong interest in challenging and developing yourself.
Interest in finding creative solutions to complex problems .
Able to make decisions based on evidence.
The desire to work in an open and trusting environment.
Strategic Pluses:
Experience working with suppliers or research partners.
Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing.
Background in Industry 4.0.
