Job Description

Rockwell Automation is in the process of implementing the Windchill solution as a new corporate-wide PLM platform. If you're interested in joining a newly formed and growing team, please apply for this role. You will be part of the global IT Product Lifecycle Management team and important to ensuring the quality and reliability of our global PLM system. As a Windchill QA Engineer at Rockwell Automation, you will be responsible for the validation, testing, and support of our Windchill environment as well create test automation strategy for the platform. You'll collaborate with teams to implement scalable solutions that enhance product lifecycle management capabilities across the enterprise.

You will report to the Manager located in Poland and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Windchill environment.
  • Validate functional requirements through solution testing for new enhancement requests.
  • Perform regression testing and defect validation using tools like Azure DevOps, qTest and Tosca.
  • Document test results, defects, and corrective actions in Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms.
  • Collaborate with Windchill developers and architects to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements.
  • End-to-end testing process ownership, including management of UATs with the business stakeholdersDrive and contribute to the Test Automation strategy for the platform
  • Participate in SAFe ceremonies (daily synchs, sprint planning, backlog grooming).
  • Seek improvement opportunities in QA processes and automation.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Windchill testing, validation, or QA roles.
  • Knowledge of PLM/Windchill capabilities including Part, BOM, Document, CAD, visualization, and Change Management.
  • Familiarity with Windchill configuration elements: ACLs, OIRs, lifecycles, workflows, types, and attributes.
  • On-hands experience with test automation tools and scripting (e.g., Tosca, qTest).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise DevOps practices
  • Fluent in English (C1).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Experience working in a global multi-language environment with distributed teams.
  • Exposure to ticketing tools like ServiceNow.
