We are hiring a Quality & Supply Chain (QSC) Innovation Lead in Singapore. As the Wider Asia QSC Innovation Lead, you will head the innovation team and oversee the end-to-end supply chain to ensure agile, timely delivery of all innovations across Wider Asia. This role partners closely with Commercial and R&D teams, and leads Technical, Manufacturing (internal and external), and Supply Chain hubs to drive innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain core leadership team member with accountability for E2E Supply Chain to deliver product launches on time, in budget and with excellent service
  • Provide strategic partnership to our Commercial and R&D teams to accelerate growth and improve speed to market 
  • Lead QSC Innovation meetings and ensure alignment throughout Wider Asia Innovation projects
  • Orchestrate multi-functionally an integrated Innovation master plan that combines technical, operational and commercial opportunities towards sales and margin improvement
  • Build capability/coach the QSC Innovation team to deliver the masterplan with excellence
  • Lead stage gate management and perform rigorous post launch evaluation to feedback learning into future initiatives
  • Develop supply chain plans for new product launches, covering sourcing, manufacturing strategy, cost, investment, risk management, and scalable processes to deliver excellent supply service, cost and agility during and after launch.
  • Ensure plans are aligned to Supply efforts to simplify operations, Network footprint and portfolio while delighting consumers and customers.
  • Capture operational, quality, technical, and business needs for acceptance, cost, and risk to support stage gate decisions.
  • Assist with the due diligence process for new products at own Haleon manufacturing sites, or licensed from CMOs, as well as for new contract manufacturers that will supply the innovation or product.
  • Build effective working relationship and influence with internal and external partners
  • Champion QbD (Quality by Design) and Design-To-Target-Cost (DTTC) in the development of robust and cost-effective formulations, tech transfer of new products from R&D to internal sites/CMOs, process documentation and testing methodologies that meet standards of quality and process capability
  • Ensure QSC Innovation team transfer product knowledge, share potential improvements that may be needed to Product Owners post launch
  • Facilitate and chairs Wider Asia Technical Review Board

Requirements:

  • BSc in Science, Engineering or Equivalent relevant Supply Chain management experience
  • At least 15 years relevant experience in Pharmaceutical / Consumer Healthcare Manufacturing, Operations and Technical Support
  • Ability to navigate matrix environment and manage multiple stakeholders across multiple geographies/ functions and levels
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and influencing skills
  • Experience in people/team management
  • Experience working with Manufacturing sites, Contract Manufacturers, R&D teams, Financial and commercial acumen
  • Expertise in complex problem solving and ability to lead and manage issues
  • Excellent at handling change management and can drive decisions/actions with sense of urgency
  • Experience working in a cGMP environment, in process scale up/optimization, validation and ability to apply knowledge appropriately to enable speed and agility in innovation
