Job Description Summary:

Clinical Support staff provide front-line assistance in the WIC program, helping clients with eligibility, scheduling, and paperwork while ensuring accurate records and smooth clinic operations. This role combines customer service and clerical support to create a welcoming and efficient experience for WIC families.

Job Description:

MaineGeneral is seeking a Clinical Support team member to assist with daily operations in our WIC program. This role supports clients and staff by:

  • Explaining the WIC program and assisting with eligibility and enrollment

  • Scheduling and updating client appointments

  • Managing client records, paperwork, and reports with accuracy and confidentiality

  • Supporting clinic flow, answering calls, and providing customer service

  • Assisting with clerical duties including supplies, mail, and general office upkeep

  • Promoting a welcoming and supportive clinic environment, including breastfeeding support

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and customer service skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy clinic setting

  • No certification required; training provided
