POSITION SUMMARY:
The West Coast District Manager is a dynamic field leader responsible for driving exceptional store performance, elevating customer experience, and developing high-performing Store Managers across the West Coast district. This role exists to champion operational excellence, inspire strong leadership, and ensure every store delivers the elevated, on-brand experience our customers expect.
As a key connector between HQ and the field, you will influence cross-functional partners, optimize district performance through data and insights, and cultivate an empowering culture where teams feel supported, engaged, and set up for success. This is a highly visible and impactful role for a seasoned multi-unit leader energized by fast-paced retail, youth culture, and people development.

Drive Sales Leadership & Business Performance (30%)
Lead district sales performance through strong KPI management and data-driven decision-making.
Analyze weekly/monthly reporting to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Partner with Store Managers to improve conversion, UPT, AOV, and overall profitability.
Ensure each store delivers an elevated, customer-obsessed experience.
Grow & Develop High-Performing Store Leaders (25%)
Recruit, coach, and develop Store Managers with strong accountability and leadership capabilities.
Build a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.
Conduct consistent in-store coaching to elevate leadership confidence and capability.
Address underperformance with clarity and support growth pathways.
Ensure Operational Excellence & Brand Standards (20%)
Uphold flawless execution of retail operations, visual merchandising, and brand presentation.
Oversee payroll effectiveness, workforce planning, operational compliance, and inventory integrity.
Partner with Loss Prevention to maintain safety, compliance, and shrink control.
Support New Store Openings with operational setup and team readiness.
Champion Customer Obsession & Community Engagement (15%)
Use customer feedback, mystery shop results, and CX insights to elevate the in-store experience.
Drive initiatives that deepen community connection and brand storytelling.
Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication (10%)
Partner with Visual Merchandising, Merch/Allocation, Retail Ops, TX, and Facilities teams to drive alignment.
Act as the field voice to HQ, sharing insights that influence strategic direction.
Ensure consistency, clarity, and timely communication across all Store Managers.

COMMERCIAL AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
5–7+ years of multi-unit retail leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Proven success driving sales performance through KPI analytics, planning, and data-driven decision making.
Demonstrated experience developing high-performing leaders, building accountability, and leading teams through change.
Strong understanding of our customer and social-driven retail trends.
Expertise in workforce planning, payroll management, scheduling optimization, and operational execution.
Proficiency with retail systems such as POS platforms, reporting dashboards, workforce management tools, and LP systems.
Ability to communicate clearly, influence cross-functionally, and inspire large, diverse teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred, but not required. Equivalent experience in progressive retail leadership roles will also be considered.
Salary Banding: $125,000-$140,000 annual salary
