Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out structural welding, fabrication, and repairs on container‑handling and workshop equipment
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment safety and availability
  • Repair defects based on examiner defect lists and breakdown reports
  • Support mechanics and electricians during maintenance and major equipment failures
  • Complete work orders, confirmation slips, and maintenance records accurately
  • Follow HSSE rules, safe working procedures, and housekeeping standards
  • Work shifts and standby duties to support 24‑hour terminal operations

What We Are Looking For:

  • Continuous improvement mindset: willingness to improve safety, quality, and equipment reliability
  • Qualified coded welder with relevant certification
  • 3–5 years’ welding experience in ports, mines, steel, or manufacturing environments
  • Experience in MIG, TIG, gas welding, flame cutting, and brazing
  • Ability to read welding procedures, drawings, and maintenance instructions
  • Willingness to respond to emergency repairs and work with minimal supervision
