The Role

Aspen Technology is seeking a member with strong Content Management System (CMS), HTML, JavaScript, and CSS skills to join our growing marketing team. This role sits at the intersection of Marketing and IT, responsible for the technical health, performance, and ongoing evolution of our corporate website and related digital platforms.

Your Impact

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms, a working knowledge of SEO best practices, and a data-informed approach to improving site quality and user experience. This position is based in our Mexico City office and reports to the Manager of Digital Experience, also located in Mexico City.

Key Responsibilities:
 

CMS Administration

  • Serve as the primary administrator for AspenTech's CMS (Sitecore), overseeing architecture, templates, component libraries, and user permissions.
  • Maintain CMS platform health, manage upgrades, and ensure the system is configured to support the needs of content editors and digital marketers.
  • Responsible for receiving and processing URL redirection requests, as well as content approvals within the CMS.
     

Launch & Deployment

  • Own the technical components for web launches, ensuring seamless, well-tested deployments across www.aspentech.com and associated digital properties.
  • Coordinate release schedules and deployment processes in partnership with IT and marketing stakeholders.
     

Quality Assurance

  • Oversee QA and testing processes to ensure all website elements, integrations, and user journeys function correctly across browsers and devices.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before they affect the user experience or business performance.
     

SEO & Site Performance

  • Apply technical SEO best practices including site architecture, page speed optimization, structured data, crawlability, and indexation health.
  • Monitor core web vitals and site performance metrics, identifying and prioritizing improvements that drive measurable results.
     

Technical Roadmap

  • Partner with IT to implement new website functionality, integrations, and information architecture improvements.

Documentation & Governance

  • Maintain documentation of workflows, assets, and audit trails; develop and deliver training for internal content editors.
     

Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide tier-one technical support for web-related issues, escalating and collaborating with IT to resolve complex bugs or system outages with minimal disruption.

What You'll Need

Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing Technology, or a related discipline.

• 4-6 years of experience managing commercial enterprise CMS platforms (Sitecore strongly preferred; Adobe Experience Manager considered).

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript and an understanding of database design concepts.

• Proven track record of managing web operations in a B2B environment.

• Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills & Competencies

• Web Standards: Deep understanding of web services, information architecture, browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.

• Technical SEO: Working knowledge of technical SEO principles, including site structure, metadata, page speed, and indexation.

• Analytics: Proficiency with GA4 and related tools; ability to interpret data and communicate performance clearly to non-technical audiences.

• Agile Mindset: Comfortable working within Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and iterative project delivery.

• Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, IT, and agency partners.

• Problem Solving: Methodical, detail-oriented approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
