Primary Job Function 

This leader will work proactively to enable Abbott to continuously improve existing web experiences and processes with the goal of driving the businesses forward. This individual will be able to analyze and identify the resources needed for the project, prevent problems from occurring to the greatest extent possible by anticipating issues and proactively implementing efficient solutions. Additionally, they must understand the privacy landscape and help support key privacy initiatives 

This individual must understand system integration that spans both technology and business process from concept through completion in support of Abbott Nutrition’s sales, marketing, and compliance efforts. They will be responsible for the development and execution of complex digital project estimates and timelines from initiation through completion (in partnership with IT Development team). Responsible for breaking down problems to optimize and execute processes that support the design of digital projects. This role requires problem solving with the ability to influence to make a positive impact to the overall business. 

This individual must be equally comfortable working with business and IT coworkers and must be able to interpret business goals into IT requirements and IT challenges into business terms. They are responsible for holding stakeholders, at times at very high levels in the organization, and accountable for leading and managing teams and processes to launch key website & mobile application initiatives 
 

 

Core Job Responsibilities 

  • Provide project management discipline perspective to all dialogs and decisions that affect overall internal agency health 

  • Responsible for the consistent execution of timelines and budgets (across large category “A” projects), and ensuring the agency and brand teams are adhering to both 

  • Accountable for running digital project status meetings and providing status recap of each 

  • Responsible for working with Account Management and Operations to execute monthly billing 

  • Work to break problems down into manageable parts to reach a solution that works for all stakeholders 

  • Accountable for providing project guidance and mitigation of risks/issues 

  • Understanding of the development and design process that goes into creation of digital programs 

  • Working closely with the development partner to ensure a seamless hand-off from creative through launch, including helping to identify efficiencies and ensuring the final deliverable is executed with excellence and accuracy 

  • Create governance model and align brands to ensure overall communications, deliverables and review processes are efficient 

  • Ability to influence and manage change through collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach 

  • Responsible for holding stakeholders accountable and leading and managing teams & processes to launch key digital initiatives.  

  • Develop and maintain key project governance documentation to ensure the proper amount of structure is applied to enable project success.  

  • Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to project, management, and senior-executive teams. 

  • Partnership with Information Technology in defining technologies required for the implementation of the business initiatives  

  • Drive the continuous improvement and development of the enterprise digital ecosystems and related tools based on evolving business requirements  

  • Research emerging technologies and assess their viability to solve business problems/provide strategic and competitive advantage  

  • Work with cross-functional business leads to define and manage business process and technology roadmaps in support of long-term divisional strategies.  

  • Guide team of project managers to launch key digital initiatives effectively and efficiently  

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Abbott’s nutrition brand goals, target audiences, category trends/opportunities, and industry pressures/threats and how they translate into website strategy and project requirements 

  • Responsible for leading the team in project plans, scope, risks, budget, schedules, and performance requirements.  

  • Support key privacy initiatives through to launch in partnership with Legal, OEC, IT and Brand.  

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5-7+ years’ experience in Project Management; 5+ years directly working in a digital environment 

  • Project Management Skills: Advanced in Microsoft Office including Excel and Microsoft Project, Familiar with Project Management tools such as Wrike, Jira, etc. 

  • Knowledge of health care and/or CPG marketing, markets, and products 

  • Must have proven ability to orchestrate teams to get work done regardless of roadblocks. This may require direct conversations with stakeholders to break down barriers and develop alternate plans 

  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and work effectively in a matrixed organization 

  • Must have first-hand experience working with agencies, developers and designers, etc. and understanding the process as it applies to launching websites and mobile applications. 

  • Experience with risk management, governance, change management, communications management 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to facilitate communication and share out of results and provide recommendations to stakeholders.  

  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced environment and lead strong teams through rapidly evolving, complex demands, including multiple projects with dependencies on other teams. 

  • A positive attitude and eagerness to solve complex problems 

 

 

The base pay for this position is

$99,300.00 – $198,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
