Robert Half, one of FORTUNE’s World’s Most Admired Companies and a Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For is hiring a Web Editor, Communications (Contract Talent) to join the Corporate Communications department. 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly collaborative Web Editor to support the optimization and publication of thought leadership content that appears on the company’s website. The Web Editor will maintain online content and work in the company’s Content Management System (CMS) to keep web pages current with updated copy, graphics, videos and an excellent user experience.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Strategy, the Web Editor will work with writers, SEO analysts, the web content manager, UX and others across the Marketing and Corporate Communications teams to publish and update online content that supports business objectives. This will include staying current on trends, business opportunities and content that supports Robert Half’s vision/mission.

 

What You'll Do

  • Edit and upload content on the Robert Half website using Adobe Experience Manager.

  • Edit and update content on web pages as new messaging and data are available.

  • Identify opportunities for new web pages in coordination with content strategy managers.

  • Evaluate content ideas from an SEO lens and provide feedback on the potential for organic traffic.

  • Ensures web content is accurate, authoritative, well-structured and optimized for discovery, interpretation and reuse by generative AI and search experiences.

  • Find stock images to accompany online content.

  • Update existing online content with new data and optimize it for search engines.

  • Produce and share out web page metrics and key takeaways.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree and 2-4 year of communications or marketing experience.

  • Experience editing, optimizing and uploading professional content.

  • Web content optimization experience and linking strategies.

  • Proficiency using content management systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

Preferred software skills:

  • Adobe Experience Manager

  • Figma

  • Google Analytics (GA4)

  • Google Search Console

  • Smartsheet

  • Microsoft Teams

  • SharePoint

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.

$29.81 - $45.19
