Job Description

What is the opportunity?

You will be a Wealth Planning Associate supporting our dynamic Wealth Planning team in delivering trusted advisory services to high-net-worth clients. You'll play a key role in the end-to-end wealth planning process, working alongside experienced Wealth Planners to help clients achieve their financial and life goals while driving business growth across our Asia region.

What will you do?

  • Provide comprehensive support to Wealth Planners in delivering wealth planning advisory services including consultation facilitation and follow-up action integration
  • Prepare marketing materials and coordinate wealth planning events, client engagements, and internal educational briefings
  • Develop client profiles and manage documentation support throughout the trust on-boarding process
  • Coordinate with clients, internal colleagues, and external professional advisors to facilitate trust and insurance business solutions
  • Liaise with the Trust team to prepare review packs and documentation for regular trust reviews with clients
  • Ensure compliance with RBC policies and procedures, escalating client and risk issues appropriately to protect the business
  • Participate in wealth planning and trust-related training to stay current with market practices and share knowledge with the team

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • University degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or other relevant professional qualifications
  • At least 3 years' working experience in the private banking industry
  • Excellent communication and client servicing skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage high-pressure situations
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in a client-facing role within wealth management
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and growth mindset
  • Knowledge of trust and insurance products in wealth planning
