Wealth Custody & Clearing Chief Revenue Officer, MD

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for Global Wealth Custody & Clearing will be responsible for driving and executing innovative global revenue growth strategies across our Wealth Services platform. This influential leadership position calls for a strategic, client-centric executive with deep expertise in wealth management, custody, and clearing solutions. The CRO will focus on delivering differentiated, scalable solutions to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients and large enterprise wealth management firms, ensuring seamless integration across our global platforms and markets. This role requires a passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and promoting our culture of innovation and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Leadership: Develop, implement, and own a comprehensive global revenue strategy in alignment with Wealth Services’ objectives, with full accountability for achieving growth targets across domestic and international markets.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and deepen strategic partnerships with UHNW clients and enterprise wealth management firms (assets > $20B), delivering customized custody, clearing, and investment solutions that meet evolving client needs.
  • Sales Strategy:
    • Champion the go-to-market approach for State Street’s global wealth offerings, leveraging strategic alliances—including our partnership with Apex Fintech Solutions—to broaden our reach and enhance the client experience.
    • Co-lead joint initiatives with Apex to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions that drive differentiation and client value.
    • Expand relationships with existing institutional partners to unlock new revenue streams, while proactively identifying and engaging new enterprise wealth management prospects globally.
    • Utilize market intelligence to identify and capitalize on opportunities in alternative investments, private credit solutions, and securities-based lending.

Product & Platform Expertise: Apply expert knowledge of wealth management solutions—including CRD Wealth and third-party platform integrations—to support client transitions and drive operational excellence.

Enterprise Integration: Demonstrate a strong understanding of enterprise client operating models, technology ecosystems, and compliance requirements to ensure efficient onboarding and integration across State Street’s platforms.

Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Management, Operations, Transition and Technology teams to deliver seamless, client-focused solutions and advance key revenue initiatives.

Global Leadership & Representation: Serve as a brand ambassador for State Street, representing the organization at industry events, promoting thought leadership, and reinforcing our reputation as a trusted global partner.

Travel: Willingness to travel internationally, as needed, to support client engagement and business development activities.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in wealth management, custody, and clearing, with a demonstrated track record of global revenue growth and transformation.
  • Deep domain expertise in addressing the complex needs of UHNW clients, alternative investments, private credit, securities-based lending, and large enterprise operations.
  • Exceptional sales leadership skills, including the ability to design and execute enterprise-level sales strategies, negotiate complex transactions, and manage executive client relationships.
  • Proficiency with CRD Wealth and other critical third-party platform integrations for enterprise wealth management.
  • Strong strategic and analytical acumen, capable of translating vision into actionable business plans that drive measurable results.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop diverse global teams in a dynamic, matrixed organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Salary Range:

$170,000 - $267,500 Annual
