Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research and development arm of The Walt Disney Company! Its hardworking corps of Imagineers is responsible for the creation - from concept initiation through installation - of all Disney Resorts, theme parks and attractions, real estate developments, cruise ships, regional entertainment venues, and new media projects.
The approximate date of this internship is June 2026 to December 2026 and will be located in Orlando, FL.
What You Will Do
This intern will assist the consolidations and data strategy efforts for WDI Project Finance. This involves data and financial analyses, project reporting, strong storytelling and identifying efficiencies for WDI Project teams and partners to leverage. Key elements of this role include:
Consolidation of regular reporting for leadership and partners
Sustaining various data strategy efforts to maintain relevancy and reliability for the broader WDI organization.
Assisting with the development and socialization of new reporting tools or processes
Proactively identifying issues and offering solution-oriented recommendations
Communicating clear and concise thoughts and information to partners and leaders in a timely manner
Interfacing and building rapport with project /department team members, management, and internal/external customers
Ability to work in a flexible team environment including functional groups outside of the department
Organizational skills with the initiative to take a creative approach and work on assigned projects independently
Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Experience with creative thinking and fast turnaround production
Ability to handle several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Digital literacy skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail when pulling together reports or other communications
Exposure to Business Intelligence Software (Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
Familiarity with SAP
Proven ability to develop and interpret financial models
Dashboard development experience in Business Intelligence Software (Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
Experience writing simple to complex SQL queries
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
A junior, senior or recent graduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or other business/quantitative equivalent
Additional Information
Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work
