As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding a high-performing dispatch team that supports deployed fleet of autonomous vehicles. You’ll ensure that remote incidents, vehicle alerts, and operational disruptions are managed efficiently and in line with company safety and customer experience goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of associates, ensuring high engagement, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Oversee day-to-day dispatch operations: triage vehicle alerts, coordinate with field units, and escalate issues to the right stakeholders.
Monitor and meet performance metrics (e.g., response time, case resolution rate, driver/passenger satisfaction).
Maintain a working environment of situational awareness, safety culture, and procedural adherence.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, safety, and vendor partners to refine processes, drive root-cause analysis, and improve system readiness.
Conduct shift briefings, scenario training, and post-incident reviews to develop the team’s readiness and capability.
Ensure the team uses dispatch tools and systems accurately; contribute to tool enhancements and workflow improvements.
Provide regular reporting to management on dashboard metrics, trends, operational risks, and improvement plans.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in operations, logistics, safety, or related field.
Strong operational mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; able to work with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain composure in critical situations.
Familiarity with dispatch or control-room environments preferred.
Willingness to work shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed.
