As a Water/Wastewater Treatment Specialist, you will manage plant water systems end-to-end, ensuring operational continuity, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement of treatment processes.
Operate, monitor, and optimize water and wastewater treatment systems to meet internal standards and regulatory discharge requirements.
Conduct routine sampling, laboratory analysis, and system performance reporting to ensure environmental compliance.
Lead troubleshooting, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis for treatment process deviations or equipment failures.
Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities with the utilities and engineering teams.
Implement process improvements to enhance water efficiency, reduce chemical consumption, and improve effluent quality.
Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory audits and internal EHS/quality inspections.
Support environmental sustainability initiatives, including water conservation and waste minimization projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment operations within manufacturing (FMCG, chemical, starch, or food processing preferred).
Strong knowledge of biological, chemical, and physical treatment processes.
Experience with SCADA/DCS system monitoring and utilities operations.
Hands-on background in water quality testing, analytical measurement, and environmental reporting.
Strong problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot complex treatment system issues.
Detail-oriented with a disciplined approach to documentation and compliance.
Effective communicator who can coordinate across engineering, operations, and EHS teams.
Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and sustainability.
High accountability and ownership of plant environmental performance.
