Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:

  • You will be responsible for the operation of a Class II water treatment plant with a rated capacity of 3.17 MGD.
  • You will perform duties of monitoring and controlling the water treatment process that inlcudes; chemicals addition, Coagulation, Flocculation, Sedimentation, Chlorination, Filtration, pH control and Fluoridation.
  • You will determine treatment and operational changes needed to remain within regulatory limits of purity, chemical requirements, and water production needs.
  • You will use experience, laboratory results, established water quality targets, and instrumentation to determine the need for treatment modifications.
  • You will maintain water system storage capacity by monitoring water tank elevations and coordinating filtration rates.
