Warehousing & Distribution Operations Supervisor

 

We are looking for a Warehousing & Distribution (W&D) Operations Supervisor to support day‑to‑day logistics, warehousing, and distribution activities across selected CEE markets.
In this fully operational role, you will be responsible for maintaining excellence in W&D processes, resolving operational issues, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

You will work as part of a cross‑functional regional team, collaborating closely with local Quality teams, the W&D Relationship Manager, and other Operations Supervisors. The role also involves representing W&D activities in front of Health Authorities and supporting key stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Teamwork & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Support W&D colleagues across the CEE region in daily operational tasks.

  • Participate in regular team meetings and maintain strong internal communication channels (Customer Service, Demand, Finance).

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and external partners.

  • Represent Haleon/QSC in interactions with local authorities and audit teams.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee inbound and outbound warehouse flows, resolving issues related to deliveries, returns, damages, and documentation to ensure smooth, compliant operations.

  •  Manage transport activities by selecting and monitoring transport partners and resolving delivery issues for domestic, export, and intercompany shipments.

  • Support customs and export processes by ensuring correct documentation and compliance with local market requirements.

  • Ensure W&D processes meet Haleon quality and compliance standards, including participation in audits and quality activities.

  • Oversee stock management routines such as reconciliations, physical counts, compliant stock destruction, and stock accuracy in systems.

  • Support budgeting, financial control, invoice verification, and cost allocation across markets.

  • Contribute to reporting and compliance related to Ecodesign and other sustainability legislation.

  • Monitor KPIs and initiate actions to improve operational performance.

Projects & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead or contribute to logistics‑related projects within the W&D team.

  • Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Quality, and Finance to align logistics processes with business goals.

  • Manage discussions with 3PL providers and other external partners to optimize performance and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in logistics and supply chain management.

  • Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations, including working knowledge of WMS and logistics systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

  • Knowledge of SAP and/or APO is considered an advantage.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Practical, proactive, and solution‑oriented approach to problem‑solving.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Fluent in English and Hungarian.
