General Summary:
The general scope of this position’s responsibility is to maintain warehouse inventory, unload finished goods from plant and load outbound customer orders. Pull and stage customer orders in warehouse using a forklift.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Load and unload LTL and truckloads.
2. Pull customer orders from warehouse and stage for shipment.
3. Maintain visual checks for forklifts (daily inspection)
4. Assist with cycle counts
5. Assist in warehouse housekeeping.
6. Maintain warehouse inventory stock. (Ex. Rotate stock items – First In, First Out Method – FIFO).
7. Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Ability to obtain a forklift license.
2. Ability to chock wheels, place dolly under nose of trailer, apply glad hand lock to air brakes.
3. Basic computer skills.
4. Basic math skills.
Education and Experience:
1. Ability to read, write, hear and speak English proficiently.
2. 1 – 3 years on the job experience.
