THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE

As a Warehouse Associate / Counter Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting both the operational and customer-facing sides of the branch. You’ll work as part of a team to ensure efficient warehouse operations while also delivering exceptional service to customers visiting the branch.

In the warehouse, you will receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials while maintaining accurate inventory controls. Safety and organization are top priorities, and you’ll contribute to a clean, efficient, and compliant work environment.
 

At the counter, you will assist customers with product selection, order fulfillment, and general inquiries. You’ll build relationships, provide solutions, and ensure every customer leaves with a positive experience.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where no two days are the same—combining operations, teamwork, and customer interaction to keep the branch running smoothly.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory accurately
  • Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for pickup
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through organization and cycle counts
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
  • Assist walk-in customers with orders, product questions, and recommendations
  • Process sales transactions and ensure order accuracy
  • Build strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and counter area
  • Collaborate with team members to meet branch goals and customer needs

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and be active (standing/walking) for extended periods
  • Previous warehouse experience (receiving, picking, inventory) preferred
  • Customer service or sales experience is a strong plus
  • Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or building materials is a bonus (but not required)

  • Attendance – Ability to maintain the scheduled days and hours, including onsite presence at the assigned location as specified.
  • Physical Capacities – Lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the day, sitting and standing for extended periods. Kneeling, squatting, climbing, and walking
  • Operation of Office Equipment — Job requires operation of equipment common to office settings, including computers, copiers, and other office equipment, including Near Vision, Manual Dexterity, and working in proximity to equipment.
  • Oral Communication Skills – Speaking, Speech Clarity, and Speech Recognition.
