Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or hospital materials management
- Proficiency in hospital inventory systems (e.g., ERP System)
- Ability to troubleshoot inventory issues and provide solutions
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Knowledge of hospital supply logistics and regulatory compliance

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor Warehouse Tech I & II employees, ensuring adherence to hospital procedures
- Develop and implement inventory control strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely restocking of critical items
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to warehouse staff
- Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
- Collaborate with hospital departments to address urgent supply needs and process improvement initiatives
- Train employees in the use of inventory management systems and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks or hospital-approved carts, to transport goods
- Safely operate hospital-approved transport carts or vehicles for supply delivery within facilities
- Monitor and manage par levels at designated supply locations
- Follow infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination
- Ensure all Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) and medical waste disposal guidelines are followed by regulatory requirements
- Adhere to OSHA, Joint Commission, and hospital safety standards
- Identify inventory management deficiencies and make recommendations for improvement to management

Physical Demands and Environmental Work Conditions:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages up to fifty (50) pounds regularly
- Comfortable standing for extended shifts without frequent breaks
- Ability to walk long distances, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb ladders as needed
- Perform repetitive tasks like picking and packing without discomfort
- Good hand-eye coordination for operating equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.)
- Physical stamina to maintain activity levels throughout shifts
- May require a pre-employment medical evaluation to ensure physical fitness for the role
- Hospital warehouse setting with exposure to temperature variations, lifting requirements, and fast-paced work demands
- Full-time position with standard hospital supply chain hours as described per policy. Hours of operations may vary with evening and weekend shifts as necessary for operational need
- May involve on-call responsibilities for urgent inventory and supply chain needs
