The Warehouse Technician is an entry-level position responsible for general activities within Operations including but not limited to unloading and loading trailers, moving and weighing assets, and sorting and disassembling assets. What you’ll do:
Administer and operate the organization's warehouses, including processing, destruction, and storage of all physical assets.
Account for all assets in the store's facility.
Audit goods received into warehouse.
Oversee receipt, storage, moves, and shipment of assets and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
Qualifications:
English reading, writing, and communication skills
High school or equivalent degree
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Basic knowledge of internet and data entry and of computer-related equipment
Requirements:
Ability to:
— Lift up to 60 pounds regularly
— Remain stationary and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time
— Climb a stepladder regularly
— Stoop, crouch, kneel, push, and pull regularly
— Operate tools and equipment
Travel
Iron Mountain has facilities worldwide and works with clients at customer sites. Although you may not have to travel, there could be instances where traveling for your position is required.
