Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who will oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. This role is responsible for managing warehouse staff, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of driving productivity while maintaining a safe and positive work environment.
Your Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control
Plan, organize, and manage the work of warehouse associates to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time
Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse employees to improve performance and maintain high morale
Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation and accuracy through cycle counts and audits
Implement and enforce safety procedures and compliance with OSHA and company standards
Operate or oversee the use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners
Collaborate with logistics, purchasing, and production teams to optimize warehouse operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Track performance metrics (KPIs) related to productivity, accuracy, and efficiency
Identify process improvements to reduce costs and improve workflow
You Must Have:
Ability to read, interpret, and decipher general written instructions from documents such as work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, operating procedures, or other job specific written documents
Ability to speak and communicate effectively with fellow employees
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Prior leadership experience
