The opportunity
The Warehouse Supervisor at Hitachi Ltd. will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
How you’ll make an impact
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, including scheduling, performance management, and training.
Manage and optimize warehouse layouts and processes for improved efficiency and space utilization.
Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts, stock checks, and addressing discrepancies.
Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures, including regular safety training and inspections.
Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance as needed.
Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth material flow and meet operational targets.
Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company standards.
Participate in the development and implementation of new warehouse technologies and systems.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
Ability to operate various warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and possess relevant certifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with all levels of staff.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required. Arabic is plus.
