JOB SUMMARY: 

Directly supervise the receipt, inventory, consolidating, and shipping of purchased or manufactured materials. Perform data inspections and send communications to ensure materials are coming in on time. Liaison between the project team, manufacturing, purchasing, and the spare parts team to keep everyone informed. This position has a minimum of one direct report. Other assigned projects and tasks as needed. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in the operations and activities of the Warehouse 

Critical in promoting, participating and enforcing the importance of safety to help maintain a safe and healthy work environment; Report all safety issues, maintain Safety Excellence binder, conduct tool box talks, etc.

Supervise loading and unloading operations 

Prepare shipping documentation and other related paperwork. 

Promote, comply, actively participate, and enforce the importance of safety to help maintain a safe and healthy work environment; Report all safety issues 

Provide leadership to others through example and knowledge sharing 

Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. 

Motivate and encourage employees to meet their individual goals 

Provide the warehouse team members feedback through job performance appraisals 

Assign workloads to warehouse workers 

Manage staff hours and submit to payroll. 

Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures 

Utilize space efficiently and effectively 

Monitor automated warehousing system; operate a computer to enter data, correct errors. 

Check and verify materials in the warehouse periodically. 

Operate and demonstrate the use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment

Assist direct report with consolidation and loading of crates to ensure on-time delivery 

Suggest/implement possible improvement on a regular basis 

Implement and monitor KPI’s closely

Perform other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, not required 

Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment 

Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes 

Have 5-7 years of experience in all facets of outbound and inbound warehousing 

Ability to create accountability and to lead by example 

Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Knowledge of ERP and Material Management systems. 

The base salary range for this role is $66,100 to $99,200. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
