Position Overview:

Location: Mildred Lake, AB | Continuous Shift 7x7 | Full-Time, Permanent

At Finning, our Parts and Warehouse teams play a critical role in keeping our customers running. We are looking for a motivated, hands‑on leader who is passionate about operational excellence, customer service, and team development to oversee parts and warehouse processes that directly support our valued customers across Finning Canada.

In this role, you will lead daily operations in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment, ensuring the accurate and timely procurement of parts while fostering a strong safety culture and an engaged team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by improving processes, supporting change, and developing people, all while working with industry‑leading products and systems.

Job Description:

Major Job Functions:

  • Ensure the accurate and timely procurement of parts to all customers

  • Plan, organize and schedule of the daily and weekly workloads and personnel schedules

  • Support training for all parts and warehouse functions as required

  • Communicate and liaison with both internal and external customers providing superior customer service

  • Facilitate change management in demanding and fast paced customer focused environment

  • Identify and establish required internal parts systems and processes

  • Conduct daily safety talks and regular department meetings

Education & Experience:

  • Previous supervisory or people leadership experience in parts, warehouse, logistics, or a related operational environment

  • Experience leading teams in a customer facing setting with a strong focus on service, accuracy, and responsiveness

  • Post secondary education in supply chain, business, operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience working in a unionized work environment or demonstrated ability to effectively lead within structured labor frameworks is preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and prioritize daily and weekly workloads in a fast paced environment

  • Proven team building skills that promote employee engagement, collaboration, and accountability

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers

  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management capabilities

  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel, Outlook, and Word

  • Strong commitment to safety, with a working understanding of Finning policies, procedures, and safe work practices
