Schedule: 3:30pm-12am Monday-Friday

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strict compliance to all C&W Services Safety Policies and Procedures including all Cardinal Safety Rules. Must be able to comply with all safety and work rules per company policy. To oversee all shipping procedures. This includes Pulling and staging orders, complying with all special instructions, checking orders, loading trucks to insure a properly balance and secure load.
  • To oversee all receiving procedures. This includes Unloading trucks, inspecting freight for damage, verifying material to packing lists and filling out necessary receiving forms, breaking down mixed pallets and following “SMART” put away procedures.
  • To oversee all housekeeping procedures. This includes keeping all work areas including the dock areas & aisle ways clean and free from debris, immediately cleaning up any material loss or spillage, putting all trash into appropriate trash bins.
  • To oversee all raw materials ordered by the plant are shuttled over in a timely and safe manner. Supervise all outbound shipping activity to ensure deliveries are on time and accurate with zero complaints from the customer. Investigate all complaints and outline, enforce, and provide validation of effectiveness for corrective actions taken.
  • Supervise all receiving activity is completely accurate and received on time and supervise all activity regarding put away of received materials. Must be able to perform all functions within the responsibilities of the team.
  • Must be able to operate the on-board RF monitors.
  • Make sure all equipment is in working and safe order. Notify Account Manager for all repairs necessary to keep equipment in safe operational order. Investigate and report on all accidents and near misses.
  • Must be able to work overtime when required. Employee will perform all other duties that are assigned by the responsible supervisor. Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job.
  • Must maintain a positive working environment and be a trainer and coach when needed. Must hold employees accountable and participate in progressive disciplinary action of the employee.

1) Must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written) with fellow employees and supervision.

2) Must be trainable regarding new procedures or policies

3) Must be able to make logical and sound decisions and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

4) Must be able to work well with others in a group, cooperate with others, offer to help when needed, and foster a team climate with the group where members are committed to a common goal.

5) Must have the ability to reschedule activities in response to changing conditions or multiple work demands

PERFORMANCE GOALS:

1) Perform all functions and duties with no safety violations.

2) Perform all shipments with no customer complaints.

3) Perform all daily tasks at a highly efficient level to reduce overtime and expenses.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must be proficient in SAP as it relates to job functions. Experience: Minimum of 2 years forklift experience. Must be certified by C&W Services to operate a forklift.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $23.80 - $28.00
