Work Schedule: Monday-Friday Second Shift 11:00 - 08:00 pm

A Warehouse Specialist II is responsible for maintaining the supply chain process by handling customer orders and interactions, implementing safety practices, and checking all packages for quality assurance. Individuals in this role must be extremely detail oriented and possess the ability to multitask efficiently. Additionally, this role requires the individual to demonstrate the ability to operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts.
Responsibilities
Physically receiving & shipping of materials
Picking & staging materials per first expire first out rules (FEFO)
Understand and follow proper spills / emergency cleanup procedures
Pull samples & tag as required
Proper labeling of all materials
Operation of powered industrial equipment
Direct interface with internal & external customers
Support waste reduction & recycling programs
Additional backup support for distribution department
Perform dip-tube exchanges in a clean environment
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1 year experience in the chemicals or compressed gases field, or similar field
Must have initiative and be self-motivated
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work in a team environment, be organization and multitasking
Dedicated to quality and accuracy
Computer skills such as Word and Excel required
Emergency Response Team member
Preferred Qualifications
Chemical / background or equivalent knowledge
