What you’ll do
You will Own operational excellence by managing the receiving and shipping of ingredients and finished feeds in accordance with company standards. Working closely with production and cross‑functional teams, you’ll help set order priorities, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure quality, safety, and food safety standards are met. Your hands‑on contribution—operating forklifts, maintaining housekeeping standards, and supporting continuous improvement—will help keep production running smoothly while delivering a positive experience for internal and external customers.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who Owns accountability and teamwork—a proactive, safety‑focused individual who takes pride in accuracy, communication, and quality. You’re comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing or mill environment, open to coaching, and motivated to learn and improve processes. With strong problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset, you contribute positively to both team success and customer experience.
You’ll also need
Grade 12 or equivalent
1–2 years of experience in a grain facility, mill, or manufacturing environment (asset)
Forklift and skid steer experience is an asset
Valid Class 5 driver’s license (asset)
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills, numeracy, and strong attention to detail
Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 kg, working at heights, and working in dusty and noisy environments
Commitment to safety, food safety, and regulatory standards (CFIA/HACCP/SGS)
