Position Overview: The Warehouse Sanitation Technician will perform sanitation tasks in the distribution warehouse. This role will assist with occasional equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance. In addition, this role will be responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment by performing various cleaning tasks.

Core Responsibilities:
Maintain an up-to-date Master Sanitation Schedule and SSOP documents.
Perform facility sanitation as required by Master Sanitation Schedule and on-demand tasks.
Perform facility self-assessments and safety inspections.
Conduct visual inspections and maintain the cleanliness of equipment and environment in compliance with AIB and other certification standards.
Perform cleaning procedures as written in SSOP.
Perform chemical titrations and maintain records as required by chemical program.
Maintain timely and accurate sanitation completion records.
Lead bi-monthly safety committee meetings and initiatives.
Assist outside contractors to provide necessary third-party cleaning services as required.
Assist and perform preventative maintenance work orders.
Provide support for processing activities when necessary.
Understand and comply with all Food Safety and related programs, such as but not limited to GMP's, SSOPs, and Adverse Health Policy.
Perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.
Assist with and gradually take on responsibility for conducting warehouse safety meetings.

Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1+ years’ experience working in a food manufacturing facility.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
Able condition to work 8-hour shifts while standing, lifting, bending, and reaching
Must be able to endure constant leaning and bending during shift.

Airborne particles, Fumes, Moving parts, Muscular strain, Noise, Odors, High temperatures.

Compensation Range:
$14.71 - $24.52 per hour*Starting pay is subject to Local and State Minimum Wage regulations.
