Fueling Your Passion
As a Warehouse Operator III, you will support day‑to‑day warehouse operations by receiving, storing, picking, staging, and shipping materials and finished goods. You will contribute to a safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse environment while supporting production, shipping, and field operations. This role also includes providing guidance and training to new team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
As a Warehouse Operator III, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving inbound materials from external suppliers, Baker Hughes plants, and field locations.
- Stocking received materials, completed products, and assemblies from in‑house production.
- Picking materials, components, and finished products for production orders and outbound shipments.
- Preparing component kits for production and fulfilling customer and supplier subcontract orders.
- Performing inventory transactions, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy checks.
- Coordinating freight pickup and delivery with freight forwarders when required.
- Preparing shipping documentation, including bills of lading and other required paperwork.
- Operating material handling equipment, including forklifts, in a safe and compliant manner.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Supporting special projects and continuous improvement activities as assigned.
- Training and supporting new team members on warehouse processes, safety standards, and systems.
- Following all applicable HSE policies, procedures, and warehouse operating standards.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and procedural documentation.
- Demonstrate basic written communication skills.
- Apply basic mathematical concepts related to counting, measuring, and inventory control.
- Have basic computer skills for inventory systems and documentation.
- Be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and sometimes noisy warehouse environment.
- Be able to perform work involving constant movement throughout the shift.
- Be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Be able to safely operate a forklift while loading or unloading materials
Desired Characteristics
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling operations.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and accuracy.
- Willingness to support team members and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
