Our compounding department is currently searching for a Warehouse Operator to join their fast-paced team. You will be responsible for supporting the compounding operation which manufactures aseptically compounded products such as chemotherapy, antibiotics, and total parent nutrition. This role is Monday-Friday 13:00-21:00 offering a competitive salary and a weekly shift allowance of £37.64.

Duties & Responsibilities

Warehouse

  • To receive and book in raw materials.

  • Locate raw materials in both Gate 1 and Gate 2 Warehouse as required

  • Process and load Baxter goods and Raw Materials for dispatch

  • To support in day to day running of the Warehouse duties

  • To assist routine blind count audits.

  • To perform regular routine cleaning tasks on the fork truck fleet and the work area to ensure they are kept clean at all times.

  • Provide cover for colleagues.

  • Placing orders where needed for Raw Material and items required for Production

  • Replenish Stock locations when needed

Packing

  • To pack products of a high standard and release according to specific timeframes

  • To perform routine quality checks on the product as part of the compounding process

  • To check batch numbers thoroughly and escalate any problems

  • Comply with EHS/GMP/GDP company & corporate policies and external regulatory requirements.

  • To notify Quality assurance and/or the departmental team leaders of any deviations from the process.

  • To complete internal training when required

  • You may be required to complete other tasks from time to time when reasonably expected

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in a Warehouse and/or a Packing environment an advantage.

  • Experience in using Stand On Electric Pallet Truck an advantage.

  • Experience in using warehouse inventory systems an advantage.

  • The ability to communicate and work optimally with a cross-functional team

  • Strong work ethic and flexibility to meet the needs of the business

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with team member

  • Excellent attention to detail, especially when checking batch numbers and measurements

  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment, following the full gowning procedure

  • Strong mathematical and English language skills
