Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Coatbridge, ML5
Shift Times/Hours: 29 hours per week, Monday & Friday 5.30-11pm, then Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5.30 - 11.30pm.
Hourly Rate: £12.54 plus shift allowance and benefits listed below.
This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.

Responsibilities:
Replenishment of Automat System
Picking and packing orders on the manual picking belt, bulk, fridge and secure areas
Carrying out roles within transport and routing completed orders to their destination
Where required must accurately assemble items from the pick documentation and ensure that the quantity picked is accurate.
Special care must be taken to avoid damage and the appropriate bin/packaging used - all damages must be reported to the line team leader.
Any pick face errors must be reported to the line team leaders immediately.
Any visible errors within the warehouse environment must be reported to line team leaders immediately
If there is a problem with a particular line / area the line team leader must be informed
Hospital orders are assembled in the same way but must be given to the hospital checker to ensure accuracy
Special check orders are assembled in the same way but must be given to the special checker to ensure accuracy
Medical Bulk orders, Fridge orders & Secure area orders must be picked in the same way however each have specific criteria that will be covered through training
Any errors must be responded to immediately.
All unusual quantities in picking process must be brought to the attention of the line team leader
Any suspected / actual issues relating to an order itself must be reported to the line team leader
Any issues relating to transport activities must be reported to the line team leader
Awareness of Health & Safety procedures at all times.
The warehouse area must be kept clean and tidy and free from rubbish at all times.
Requirements:

Committed to working in a hazard-free, world class health and safety environment
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be capable of standing and walking for long periods of time as well as carrying out manual handling activities in line with our Health and Safety standards.
