Warehouse - Material Issuer - 2nd shift

Shift: 3:00 PM-1:30 AM

Hourly Rate: $23.00 an hour + $1.00 shift differential

Job Description


Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will manage ingredient inventory, issue materials to production, maintain accurate documentation, and support coordination across Warehouse, Production, and Purchasing teams to ensure smooth manufacturing flow.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities:

  • Verify that inventory from the scaling area matches the inventory in the BPCS system.

  • Issue ingredients to production jobs.

  • Ensure the ingredient storage area is stocked with required materials for production.

  • Reconcile production errors related to material issuance.

  • Verify paperwork and issue all product batches in the BPCS system.

  • Audit expiration dates for ingredients being issued.

  • Organize and maintain a clean ingredient storage area, cooler, and freezer.

  • Maintain regular communication with Warehouse, Production, and Purchasing personnel regarding ingredient and production issues.

  • Confirm that all ingredients have a license plate number and communicate any discrepancies.

  • Follow all safety and Human Resources policies and procedures.

  • Identify and escalate food safety risks to a lead or supervisor.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Perform lifting and carrying tasks: negligible weight constantly, up to 5 pounds frequently, and 45 pounds when pulling or moving objects using upper extremities and back muscles.

  • Perform pushing or pulling tasks requiring negligible force constantly and up to 15 pounds frequently.

  • Walk frequently throughout the workday.


Ingredients Required for Your Success:

  • One year of experience with warehouse or inventory control procedures - shipping & receiving.

  • Forklift experience required

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Work well in a cross‑functional team environment with Warehouse, Production, and Purchasing.

  • Intermediate computer literacy and data entry skills.

  • Experience in a high‑speed manufacturing environment.

  • Willingness to work overtime when needed.

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
