Job Purpose
You will lead warehouse operations to ensure safe, accurate and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials. You will work closely with supply chain, quality, and production teams to keep operations running smoothly. We value leaders who are practical, people-focused and data-aware. Responsibilities
Devise and execute the warehouse strategy to meet production service requirements and site plans.
Manage all warehouse staff, including recruitment, performance, development and rostering, within the agreed budget.
Ensure inbound and outbound handling of raw and packing materials complies with applicable warehouse, site and EHS SOPs and standards.
Establish, monitor and drive internal warehouse KPIs aligned with the site deployment plan; own performance delivery.
Maintain audit readiness and ensure warehouse operations conform with applicable regulatory requirements at all times.
Lead implementation of the GPS roadmap in the warehouse (all six elements) and conduct departmental GEMBA walks in line with GPS expectations.
Ensure QMS and EHS declarations, risk assessments and mitigation plans are in place, maintained and closed on time.
Act as the subject matter expert for SAP warehouse processes and ensure accurate, compliant system use.
Identify, escalate and resolve operational problems; lead root cause analysis and implement robust corrective actions.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring and in-house training initiatives.
Education, Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Science or related discipline.
7-8 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics management.
Proven experience managing warehouse operations in a regulated environment (pharmaceuticals preferred).
Experience managing teams and budgets.
Strong working knowledge of SAP warehouse processes.
Demonstrable experience with QMS, EHS systems, regulatory inspections and audit readiness.
Practical experience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/GPS/Six Sigma) and conducting GEMBA.
Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel and basic reporting tools.
Experience implementing safety, quality or regulatory improvements in a warehouse.
