Description
Under the supervision of a Shift Manager, the Warehouse Lead will be responsible for directing the day to day hourly warehouse associates within an assigned AOR to achieve daily operational goals
Lead & follow-up on team activities & drive accountability within their assigned Warehouse
Communicate daily expectations with team members
Attend daily, weekly and monthly supervisor meetings
Attend or participate in management training classes for leadership development
Carry out assigned projects for leadership development
Communicate with other supporting functional groups within C&S

Environment
Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)
Skills
Specialized Knowledge : Knowledgeable of shipping and receiving procedures and experience working in various warehouse positions
Special Skills : Read, write, operate MHE equipment (pallet jack), other required materials handling equipment (MHE), effective communication skills, team player, attention to detail, organizational and problem solving skills, Comfortable using technology
Physical abilities: : You will be constantly seeing, hearing, sitting and handling paperwork. Occasionally, you will be standing, walking, driving, bending, twisting feeling, reaching, stooping, climbing, balancing, carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling, and gripping items ranging from under 20 lbs. to over 60 lbs.
Other: : Steel Toed shoes are required; Compliance with all company policies and procedures
