Warehouse Associates at Maersk plays an important role to perform Warehouse Functions not limited to following: In-bound and Outbound Stock s activities, Picking and Processing of Customers Orders, Participating in Inventory Counts and General House Keeping and Safety Compliance of the Warehouse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Time and Attendances

  • Report for duty on time, flexible to work overtime and weekends, and obey to company policies and procedures

Processing of Outbound Order

  • Pick orders accurately to stage at Cages. Scan completed orders and notified Supervisors/Manager/Admin Clerk order is ready/completed

Processing of In-bound Stock

  • Off-load in-bound stock following safe procedure and put-away stock to locations. Report stock issues (Damages, Shortages, Excess stock, incorrect products against the Trip-lists and Load shifted) to be immediately escalated to the Supervisors, Manager for investigations.

Housekeeping

  • All returned orders/stock to be received against relevant documentations and packed neatly at the Cage for further processing. All returned invoiced to be handed over Defy Admin Clerk, for credit applications and processing.

Documentation Control:

  • Coordinate creation of Tallys and GRV of all returned stock

Filing of Documents

  • Scanning and filling processed documents of stocks and scanning of POD

HSSE

  • Strict compliances to company Health and safety practices, such as wearing of issued PPE, participate to HSSE meetings

Company assets care

  • Use company assets with care; Scanners, Pallets Jacks, Packaging Pallets and immediately reports any discrepancies identified to the supervisors

Cycle counting

  • Assist with counting and verifications of stock

Operations Reporting:

  • Compile different reporting as requested by the Supervisors or manager

Stock discrepancies

  • Investigations of stock discrepancies; floor to systems

Storage Management

  • Assist in maintaining organized and efficient storage locations through precise inventory management.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

Outbound Processing

  • Process orders received in compliance with instruction /Picking slips/Tally’s instructions. Report stock discrepancies identified to the Warehouse Supervisors. Ensure all orders are picked correctly, and stage safely at the Cages. Finalise scanning of completed orders.

Stock Put-away

  • Conduct stock put ways to identified /Planned locations
