The Warehouse and Yard Supervisor supports the effective operation of Warehousing by delivering Safe, efficient and customer focused expertise across the Warehousing and Yard function. This role drives continuous improvement of processes and systems, ensuring consistent, high‑quality commercial delivery aligned with organizational standards.

As a Warehouse and Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensure safety of the team and others within the supply area, is of the highest priority. This includes but not limited to risk awareness, hazard identification, implementing control measures and completing field Interactions, stop-work and toolbox meetings.
  • Ensure a high level of inventory integrity through accurate receiving, receipting, issuing, stock control and dispatch
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
  • Create policies, procedures and instruction for warehousing activities and processes
  • Manage the schedule from key stakeholders ensuring parts are checked, consolidated and supplied on time.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate warehouse and logistics operations, preferably in gas, mining, oil, supply or transport industries.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and transport booking software.
  • Experience working with COR and road legislation in relation to road transport.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team of 5 or more direct reports.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Have a proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
