Job Description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inbound, storage, internal logistics, and outbound processes. You will focus on, process optimization, and team leadership, supporting production flow and on-time delivery.The Warehouse and Inventory Control Manager will manage the team by directly supervising two Team Leaders and a Buyer. report to the Plant Manager, and work onsite in Szczecin, Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Transport planning and organization: Ensures deliveries of raw materials and product shipments, Controls transportation costs
  • Inventory and warehouse space management creates warehouse procedures. It manages daily warehouse operations, including receipts, issues, storage, picking, and shipments. Additionally, it ensures smooth material flow following production needs. It also optimizes warehouse layout and material flow, and controls and maintains high inventory accuracy.
  • Plan deliveries and supplies: Ensures production continuity through deliveries of raw materials, Creates delivery schedules, Monitors order fulfillment
  • Increase logistics processes: Reduce costs and increase efficiency, Analyze logistics indicators, Implements new technologies and systems, Improves procedures
  • Monitoring quality and performance indicators, Prepares Indicator reports trends and recommends actions
  • Managing the subordinate team, Introduces subordinate employees and manages their training, Assesses the performance of subordinate employees
  • You will ensure and a friendly work environment. It also ensures the engagement and high morale of all subordinate employees. Additionally, you will enforce guidelines, requirements, and procedures related to labor law and HR policy. It co-creates and develops a culture of continuous improvement within the subordinate team. You will represent the employer in relations with subordinate employees. Furthermore, it ensures the completion of mandatory training, including occupational health and safety, ethics, and corporate training.
  • Manage logistics processes ensures high quality of work. It enforces proper implementation of processes following defined standards, instructions, procedures, and company policy. Additionally, it optimizes processes as part of continuous improvement. This management also controls costs and increases team productivity. Furthermore, it builds a culture of occupational health and safety. Finally, it supports the Occupational Health and Safety department in the continuous improvement of the Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Protection system.
  • Compliance with procedures: Complies with company regulations and rules Complies with standards and procedures regarding Occupational Health and Safety, Fire Protection, and Environmental Protection
  • External Relations: Collaborates with other departments within the company to achieve established goals, Coordinates activities between multiple departments within the company,
  • Warehouse Management is responsible for the warehouse. The role involves supervising FIFO and WIP, monitoring minimum and maximum stock levels, and supervising inventory, system, and physical inventory compliance. Additionally, the manager is responsible for warehouse space optimization. Another key aspect of the job is planning and managing budgets for assigned operational areas.
  • Mentor employees and create succession plan

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in warehouse and logistics management
  • Several years of experience managing warehouse and logistics operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management, material flow, FIFO/WIP, warehouse layout optimization, and internal logistics processes
  • Collaborate across departments
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); Polish required

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Experience in process optimization, cost control, and continuous improvement programs (Lean, Kaizen or similar)
  • Track, report KPIs related to warehouse, logistics, quality, and productivity
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Experience with Occupational Health & Safety, environmental protection standards, and compliance requirements
