About the role:
We’re currently seeking a Ward Clerk to join our friendly team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane on a permanent full-time basis.
In this role you will be supporting our clinical teams to successfully manage the smooth day to day administrative functions of our clinical wards. This role requires you to have the ability to confidently navigate hospital systems, good prioritisation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a team of experienced and patient focused Administration Officer’s providing expectational administrative support across our hospital at Kangaroo Point.

Ability to work on permanent full-time basis (38 hours per week)
Highly professional phone manner and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and initiate action
Well-developed computer skills including accurate data entry skills with good attention to detail
Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a part of a collaborative team
Previous experience in theatre bookings or hospital admissions would be desirable.
