Job Summary:

The transient worker will assist with laboratory and field activities of the Lower Trophic Level project as part of the Marine Community Ecology Laboratory.

Job Description:

75% Assists with benthic invertebrate identification in the laboratory.

25% Participates in field research and sampling. Occasional field work on small and large vessels, sometimes overnight trips. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a Science Degree.

Preferred Certifications:

Invertebrate species identification, fieldwork

Competencies:

Proficient - Research experience in a science related field

Proficient - Strong written and oral communications
